General Manager: Brad Starr

Brad manages the finances and marketing of the grain and oversees the productivity of the operation. He is currently the main driver of the corn planter and one combine.

He graduated from Purdue University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science in Farm Business Management. He has been leading the operation since graduation and is looking forward to advancing a team of families toward our goals.

Director of Operations

This position is currently open. Primary responsibility is to help manage the day to day operations including scheduling and follow-up with the GM concerning pending and completed activities. Systems creation and analysis are critical assets for this position.

Director of Maintenance and Storage: Phil Stanley

[Phil Stanley]

Phil is in charge of maintenance to equipment, electrical installations, pesticide application, and general machinery operation. He holds certifications in electrical skill, pesticide applications and a CDL. Phil is a highly troubleshooter and problem solver. We view his knowledge and skills as a critical part of the success here at Starr Farms.

Office Manager: Patsy Slack

[Patsy Slack]

Patsy brings experience with accounting and deep roots in Agriculture to help in managing our office. She is working diligently in bringing online a new accounting system to improve our understanding of profitability from production Agriculture.

Chester Dubois provides needed support to keep operations moving at critical times for all of us. “All work according to a plan, it is just that the plan is always subject to change.” Bob Wampler rounds out our current staff as a part-time employee.
