Soil & Nutrients

Nutrient test levels and fertilizer applications are intensively managed for long-term productivity. Geo-referenced soil samples can be taken for your farm and an extensive report can be provided. Record of our fertilizer applications can also be provided for future management decisions.

Grain Storage & Logistics

Brad Starr Farms manages more than 300,000 bushels of on-farm grain storage facilities. We weigh and sample every load as harvested and manage inventories accordingly.

Grounds Maintenance & Improvements

Mowing and snow removal are often very important to members of the rural community. We mow, spray and maintain roadsides, fence rows and lanes as mechanically feasible.

In an on-going effort to improve the farms within our operation we have installed miles of field tile drainage systems. We have also installed roadways, ditch crossings and entrances. Most of these efforts are made to improve the functionality and/or yield of the farm, but all of them are likely to gather a return for their owner.
